NDMS cheerleader, Aubrey, recently competed at NGA National Competition 2022 held in Orlando, FL. She was 7th All-Around for Level 6 -- 37.3750. She was also 5th Vault - 9.475, 6th Bars - 9.350, and 5th Floor - 9.525.
DeSoto Parish Students are attending 4-H Camp Grant Walker this week. Several students are representing NDMS. It’s always a great day to be a Griffin!
NDMS cheerleader, Kaylee, recently competed at Nationals held in Orlando, FL. She is Level 7 NATIONAL CHAMPION on Bars! She placed 2nd on Beam, 6th on floor and 7th on vault! Kaylee’s All-Around place was 2nd by .125 of a point! She was 7th out of 103 level 7 gymnasts! She made a select National team consisting of top 20 gymnast in the Nation in level 7!
Mr. Carter - joined by Superintendent Corley - is attending the 2022 Teacher Leader Summit in New Orleans. It’s a great day to be from DeSoto Parish!
3 Day Youth Football Camp 🏈 ages 7-13 🏈 July 25th - 27th from 5 PM - 7:30 PM. Fee is $100. Camp shirts will be provided. Also, NDYA Football Season info is provided for any 10-12 year olds as well.
North DeSoto Wrestling is hosting a summer wrestling camp in NDUE gym - this morning and tomorrow. NDMS wrestlers helped introduce children - ages 5-12 - to the techniques of wrestling, match scoring, and they played wrestling games to help develop coordination and aggression.

Tonight is the last night of 2022 soccer camp. The hours are 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Boys and girls that completed grades 4 - 12 were eligible to participate. It’s a great day to be a Griffin!
Congratulations to Lathan for placing 2nd in the Louisiana USA Greco Roman State Championships.
Athletes may sign up this evening to join soccer camp. Camp will continue as long as there is no lightening or torrential rain.
North DeSoto wrestling…the first day of strength training is in the books for summer 2022.
Students in DeSoto Parish are out of school tomorrow! Lower students will be dismissed beginning at 10:45 AM. High school will load afterwards then buses will travel to Middle. Everyone have a safe, fun-filled summer! We’ll see you in August.
Mrs. Langford’s WIN Book Club collected over 700 books. They donated the books to the Providence House. Middle Griffins lead, learn, and serve. It’s always a great day to be a Griffin!
