Any Griffin or Lady Griffin on the basketball or wrestling teams, yearbook photos will be taken Wednesday, January 29. If your athlete is taking the yearbook photo exclusively, no money is due. If your athlete is taking individual portraits, $20 will provide you a digital link to access your photos. You will also have the opportunity to order portraits directly from the photographer. Payments must be received prior to photo day and please ensure your athlete turns the information document in to Mrs. Catlin as well.
Thank you, Mallory Gatson, Development Coordinator with Willis Knighton, for hosting our Career Exploration and Gifted students today. Students were exposed to the multiple career opportunities within a hospital. Students rotated learning the introduction and summary of six careers: Care Management, Nursery, Lab, Radiology, Central Supply, and Respiratory. They were also provided lunch and enjoyed talks with Dr. Chu, Pediatric ICA, and Rachel Walker and Sami Stevenson with accounting. Middle Griffins support our NDMS wrestling athletes by paying $3 TOMORROW and wearing sweatpants, joggers, or PJ pants with a spirit shirt. Griffins are NOT ALLOWED to wear leggings or athletic shorts. Students must be in school approved shoes, NO crocs or slippers. Pants should not have rips or holes.

Shout out to our NDMS Red that began their season yesterday but sadly, fell short to Calvary Green and First Baptist. They played at TAC with games at 2:00 and 4:00. NDMS Blue took on Calvary Gold and Benton, playing at 12:00 and 2:00. They walked away with one win.
Congratulations to NDMS's Hadleigh, another sixth grade Griffin, that competed in the WSA competition yesterday. Her Glory team also won 1st place. Way to go!!

Shout out to Cade, hard at work with the best middle school band students from across the state at the inaugural All State Middle School honor band! They were able to meet the WORLD FAMOUS composer Frank Tichelli and he worked with them on one of the pieces he composed, “Amen”.
