Their face painting and balloon art table was a popular hit with all the participants! The BETA club looks forward to this day each year. It is such a special event that we are proud to be a small part of.

Congratulations to Alyssa Gooden for reaching platinum on ACT Workkeys. Gooden is a junior and reached Platinum her second attempt on the Workkeys assessment. She is one of our eight students rewarded with free dress because of their high achievements, and the only Junior to reach this milestone so far this year!
Way to be the #DesotoDifference, Alyssa! You make us #StanleyPROUD!

In Mrs. Ward's Science class, students are learning about sound, sound waves/and vibrations. They created their own sound source to see if the thickness of the rubber band and the intensity of the strumming created softer or louder sounds!

Mrs Loftin’s class is busy exploring weather! They used what they have already learned about maps to draw the weather all around America. They even labeled their drawings. Way to go kindergarten!
