Mansfield Elementary School is a We Care School. We care for our students, our faculty and staff, our families, and we care for our community! One of our community caring projects is to raise money to donate to Best Friends Forever (BFF) of the Desoto Parish Animal Shelter. Mansfield Elementary students, families, and staff collected dimes and spare change resulting in a donation of $1192.62 to BFF for the important work they do in our community. Ms. Head's class donated the most money, and they had the honor of presenting the check to BFF of the Desoto Parish Animal Shelter.

We are so excited about our Living Black History Museum! Our 4th grade students have researched Black History Heroes and prepared displays and would love to interact with you on Tuesday, Feb. 27th between 9 :00 AM and 10:00 AM. Displays will be set up in our Multipurpose Room and doors will open at 9:00. As you walk through the exhibits, you will also have an opportunity to hear music sung by our 2nd and 3rd grade students via video. We are so pleased with the opportunity our students have had to dive deeper into Black History and learn things that have inspired them, and they can’t wait to share their learning with you!
