Mrs. Fort's class had their first Pickle day in art class! We drew ice cream with Ms. Gandy and decorated pumpkins. On Pickle day, we pick our seat, pick what we draw together, pick a sticker and get 5 Dojo Points. Classes have to win my classroom game 5 times to earn this reward. Today was a success! Mrs. Williams's class also had a pickle day in third grade! We drew a footballs and elephants

We have some good news!! Wolverines are making great behavior choices! To date our discipline referrals are down by 43% from this time last year! We're also crushing our attendance goals! If we meet our attendance goal tomorrow, that means we will be 10-0 for the month of September and students will be rewarded!! Good things happen when we make good choices!

Dot Day, or International Dot Day, is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration that takes place every year on September 15th. It was inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' book, The Dot, where a student who believes she can't draw makes a single dot, which leads to a breakthrough in her confidence. People celebrate Dot Day by making their mark through various creative projects, connecting with others, and inspiring self-expression.

On Monday, September 15, 2025, students may wear a dot shirt and jeans to celebrate dot day!
