They invited Ms. Harville’s kindergartners to watch the end of their 1 module celebration.
In Science they are learning about habitats. They observed and drew a habitats around our school.
Ms. Anderson's students wrapped up their Tools and Work Module today by Celebrating and Sharing our Magnificent Things.

Tasting for Pre-K Five Senses! Our Littlest Wolverines participated in a tasting lesson today as they explored their senses! We just love those sweet faces!
Ms. Howard and Miss. Hubbard's second grade students visited Safety Town today and learned how to stay safe during bad weather and when playing outside. They also Learned how to call 911.

Ms. Champion's students designed and created their own superhero capes in support of childhood cancer awareness. Today we wore superhero gear to "Defeat" Childhood Cancer!

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Harville's class have been very busy learning. They have participated in Dot Day activities along with practicing with math tools which include the tool they carry with them everywhere, their fingers. Great Job Little Wolverines! Have Fun Learning!

Next Week-September 16-20, 2024, we will be honoring the courage of all children around the world who have been touched by childhood cancer along with our two courageous friends at Logansport High School. We stand with you! We honor you! We raise you up! We will be wearing special attire this week to honor these children. Y'all! We all know Wolverines are kind and have PRIDE... but Laicee and her mom were very, very kind to Mrs. Tilley. Laicee presented her math teacher, Mrs. Tilley with a loaded tea yesterday. Thank you, Mom and Laicee, for showing kindness and caring!
First graders have been busy working towards their academic goals everyday. Mrs. Champion's students used their new learning in ELA and celebrated their success with the unit culminating project, My Magnificent Thing.
MES is celebrating Dot Day by wearing dots, learning about Vashti, and being creative. International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration that takes place on September 15. It's inspired by the children's book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, which tells the story of a student who learns to trust in her own abilities. Happy Dot Day!
Mrs. Fort’s 2nd grade classes have been learning about schools around the world. Today they used hula hoops as a venn diagram and sorted the differences and similarities for the tent school and MES.
