MES will join with millions of people across the world to celebrate International Dot Day on Friday, Sept. 13th. "The Dot" is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to "make her mark." What begins as a small dot on a sheet of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has gone on to inspire countless children and adults across the globe. Our students will be exploring this book this week and we will celebrate on Friday by wearing dots!

Learning About Kindness! During library enrichment, MES students are learning about kindness and ways to show kindness. We created "Thank You" notes to show others we appreciated their kindness.

Students do not attend school on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd. Students have virtual assignments to complete. SPT Conferences will take place from 12:00-6:00 pm.
Happy Friday Everyone!

Wolverines are working together to reach our independent and school learning goals! #bettertogether

We really want to be in touch with our parents and guardians! Please make sure you are connected on Rooms! Dojo is only being used to help you monitor your student's behavior. Teachers are not communicating through Dojo, only Rooms. Please join and stay connected!
Help us reach our goals!!! We are trying to get better every day and one of the things we are working hard on is getting to school on time and making good choices in our behavior! Last week we had 40 tardies. If we have fewer than 40 tardies this week, students will get extra recess time on Friday! Last week we had 36 referrals (major and minor together). If we have fewer than 36 referrals this week, EVERYONE will get to dress down next Monday!! Let's work hard together!

Hey, hey, hey! It's National Kool-Aid Day! Our little Wolverines wore the color of their favorite Kool-Aid flavor today. What's your favorite flavor?

The safety of all students is our primary concern. For the safety of everyone, all students should be dropped off in the car line. No one should park and walk up, unless it is a student's very first day or you have business to conduct in the office. Please help us keep everyone safe and keep our car line moving efficiently so no students are tardy. Thank you for your help!
