Attention NDLE families! We are changing the date for our Grandparents Day event to Wednesday, February 14! Other schools on campus have events going on the 16th and as many of you know parking can get crazy. Please call the office if you have any questions.
NDLE Parents: This is a reminder that our District wide SPT conferences are Monday, February 5. Students will not attend school on this day. Teachers will contact you with information about scheduling conference times.

NDLE would love to thank the NDHS Wrestling Team for surprising the Little Griffins at their Fantastic Friday Assembly. During their time, with the Little Griffins, the Griffin Wrestlers did a great job discussing how 1. Goal Setting, 2. Perseverance, and 3. Character relate to wrestling, school and life. The NDLE Teachers enjoyed seeing their former students! NDLE wishes NDMS and NDHS JV wresttlers good luck today as they compete in their respective State Tournaments, and also the NDHS Wrestling Team as they gear up for the LHSAA Wrestling Tournament next weekend. #DreamBelieveAchieve #Believe #Process #DeSotoStrong #Community

Prizes will be given for every 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 items sold. These prize coupons can be sent in throughout the sale but please hold order forms and money until you have completed your selling. Please do not include online orders on your order form; those do not need to come through the school. Thank you all for your continued support!

PTA is having a t-shirt design contest for their spirit shirts. A template is coming home in student folders either today or Monday. The template is an ND that students can decorate, add a background, or add any other decorations they want. The design must use only 3 colors, red, navy and black. If you would like to do an original design, you are welcome to. Each class will vote for their favorite design, then we will open up school wide voting. We will choose the top 3-5 designs to post on Facebook for voting. Designs are due Tuesday January 23. If you do not get your template today, you can draw your own large ND and decorate it or come up with your own design.
