This week is full of celebrations!
NDUE students can wear Mardi Gras shirts with jeans on Thursday 2/12! The Mardi Gras parade will be at 9AM. Please be aware that parents will have to stand near the stadium and will not be allowed to mix in with our student body. Streetcar Snoballs will be available for purchase on Thursday for $4. Please send exact change!
Friday 2/13 will be incentive clubs so students that qualify can wear free dress. Tickets will go home on Thursday! If students don’t qualify, they can wear Valentine’s Day shirt or spirit shirt with uniform bottoms.

NDUE Parents: Please do not arrive at school for dismissal until after 2:00 pm. The gate to the loop road will not be open until 2, and staging can not occur during recess time or on the highway for safety reasons. All cars coming to NDUE should enter by NDLE both in the morning and afternoon. The loop road gate is shut from 8-2 daily. Please use the main entrance for check-outs or late arrivals.

As we celebrate National School Counselor's Week, we would also like to recognize our Volunteers of America Counselors Ms. Jenna Green and Ms. Madison Kennedy! We are so grateful for these ladies who serve our school each day with compassion, patience, and dedication. Their support makes a lasting impact on our students, providing a safe space, encouragement, and guidance when it’s needed most. NDUE would like to send a big shout out to both Team Grace and Team Heart from Louisiana Cheernastics for competing and winning at the Redline Arkansas Classic Cheer Competition this past weekend!
Team Grace: Aubrie Heintz, Logan Burke, Charlee Kate Rinaudo, and Landry Moore, placed first in their division!
Team Heart: Stella Gray Rinaudo, Erin Hay, Collyns Cogar, Harper Hayes, and Allison Penick, was awarded first in their division, High Points Champion, and USASF Grand Champions!

February 2nd-6th is National School Counseling Week, and we would like to give a shout out to our school counselor, Mrs. Dawn Asbell!
