Art Spotlight! These creative third graders enjoyed using clay to make animal figurines inspired by those found at Poverty Point! #LEADlikeaGriffin
Mrs. Severin’s 5th graders are finishing up their first Math Unit this week. They’ve learned how to calculate the volume of rectangular prisms using lots of hands on activities. These students have had a blast building and partitioning prisms; math can definitely be fun!

Our fall fundraiser has kicked off! All orders must be placed online but a sample order form was sent home as a reference when selling. We are excited to celebrate BIG with our Griffins as they help raise money to benefit our school. Get registered today! All orders must be placed by Sept. 22
Ms. Brown's 4th Grade systems engineers built a simple electrical system. They used light energy to power their systems to get the fan spinning. 🔦#LEADlikeaGriffin
Thank you to all the families who attended 2nd & 3rd Grade's Academic Night! We hope that you enjoyed the experience of learning in your child's classroom and walked away feeling better prepared to support your student this year. We had 110 students bring a family member to this event. Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. Latin, and Mrs. Warren's homeroom received a free concession dollar from PTO for having the most participants. We can't wait to host 4th and 5th grade families NEXT Thursday, Sept. 11th, from 6-7:30!

Mrs. Bain's 2nd grade class got the opportunity to take their learning outside!! They are working on an ELA project of designing their own school to tie into their module about schools and community! 📚🚌 #LEADlikeaGriffin
We value strong partnerships between school and home! Our Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on September 8, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. , with a Virtual Learning Day for students. Scheduled conferences will take place from 11:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m., and Open House Conferences will follow from 3:30 p.m. -6:00 p.m.
