North DeSoto (District no. 2) residents will consider a bond to address growth across the area. The proposed new high school assures space for this growth, and will ensure the efficient use of existing facilities, including an expanded and renovated Lower Elementary for more Prekindergarten classrooms and multi-use spaces.

Community growth is driving the bond proposal in North DeSoto. A new high school will not only help the district meet expected growth, but will also provide a dedicated performing arts and career and technical education wings, a new turf practice field and an indoor multipurpose facility that will accommodate band, cheer, dance line and JROTC. In addition there will be a new training facility for wrestling and a new baseball/softball complex.

NDUE students may wear a spirit shirt with uniform bottoms EVERY Friday to show their Griffin Pride!
Jeans days will be reserved for specific announced rewards such as grade level AR and Math competitions, attendance celebrations and incentive clubs. We will announce these specific dates through jtext, rooms, and social media. Students may not wear jeans unless otherwise communicated.

The DeSoto Parish School Board unanimously approvedCapital Improvements bond proposals at their August 3 meeting. In District 2, North DeSoto Schools, the $130 million bond proposal proposes construction of a new North DeSoto High School as well as improvements to other facilities to accommodate growth.
