Mrs. Fuller's homeroom is busy tackling their very first lesson in second grade ELA. They are learning about why school is important and then writing one thing they already knew about school coming into second grade! Way to go Mrs. Fuller's homeroom!💙🤍♥️#LEADlikeaGriffin

Who says rules and expectations have to be boring?! Our second graders are up, moving, and learning with the Puzz game on our Lu Interactive Playground—working together to piece classroom expectations into place! Meanwhile, others are practicing their manners and social skills with a lively game of “Excuse Me” Tag. We’re building a strong classroom community from day one—through fun, connection, and play! #LEADlikeaGriffin

The buses did not leave our campus until about 4 PM but should be arriving soon. We apologize for the delay! If you use our carline, please use the PikMyKid app to announce your arrival in the afternoon, as that will speed up our process. We hope everyone had a great day 1!

Car Line Reminders: -The Red Lane (closest to the building) is for 2nd/3rd grade. -The Blue Lane (outside lane) is for 4th/5th grade and for family pickup. -You will need to display a separate car tag for each student you are picking up. -If you don’t have your tags yet, pull into the correct lane and your student will bring tags home today. -As always, enter the loop at entrance 6, near the Lower Elementary.

Important Car Pick-Up Reminders Please pay close attention to our car pick-up routine as we prepare for the new school year. While we are following the same carline map as last year, there are a few important updates to note: 🚗 New System: This year, we will be using PikmyKid to manage transportation. You will receive more information about this app soon. 🚦 Updated Lane Assignments: • Inside Lane – 2nd & 3rd Grade • Outside Lane – 4th & 5th Grade, and Family Pick-Up ✅ Additional Reminders: • Make sure your car tag is clearly visible. • Review the carline map before the first day. • Gates open at 2:50 PM for staging. • All passengers should remain in the vehicle while in line. The playground is not open to the public during school hours. • For morning drop-off, the number system is not used—you may use either lane. Thank you for your support in keeping arrival and dismissal safe and smooth for everyone! #LEADlikeaGriffin
