I ENJOY SERVING ON THE BOARD BECAUSE...

My family and I have lived in DeSoto Parish for 42 years.  I saw, and continue to see, service on the School Board as the best way to try to positively impact the community where I have chosen to spend my life and build my career.   

AS I LOOK TO THE FUTURE OF OUR SYSTEM, I HOPE WE...

Can continue to change and reform to meet the ever changing and growing needs for our young people for a quality education. The motto of the Protestant Reformers of the 15th and 16th century church was "Ecclesias reformans, et semper reformanda--the Church reformed and always reforming."  With the changes we face in education today--financially, politically, socially--I think this motto holds true for a school system as well.
