NEW PATHWAY OPPORTUNITY ELECTRICIAN

Juniors and Seniors interested in working in the electrical field upon graduation!!!

The electrical training ALLIANCE&'s (etA) goal is to provide the Electrical Construction Industry with the most highly trained and skilled workforce possible.

While direct training occurs through local training programs, the electrical training ALLIANCE develops enhanced education standards to meet the competitive challenges of today's global market economy.

This pathway consists of 2 semesters of computer training on the basics of the electrician field. Topics covered are: Job Orientation, Job Information, Electrical Codes & Safety, DC Theory, and Blueprints. 

Students who complete all 5 sections with a 75% or higher have the opportunity to start as a year 2 apprentice in any IBEW union electrician program in Louisiana. 

If interested, talk to your Agriscience teacher or counselor.
