This week, our amazing students at Mansfield Elementary and Mansfield Middle School took the You Matter Pledge, committing to kindness, inclusion, and positivity! ✨💚 From writing uplifting notes to classmates to performing random acts of kindness, our students are showing that even the smallest gestures can make a big impact. Whether it’s a smile in the hallway, lending a helping hand, or simply reminding a friend that they are valued, these young leaders are creating a culture of care and compassion. #YouMatterWeek #WolverinePride #KindnessCounts #PositiveandCaringCulture

The majority of students have now been restored to their Rooms Rosters; however, we are still working to restore some cohorts of classes to active accounts. Our team is working closely with our vendor, Apptegy, to ensure all students are reconnected as soon as possible. We will provide another update as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Valentine's Day is this Friday, which is always a day packed full of fun activities for our students! What are some ways that we can make sure this special day is fun for all students? Consider social stories, adapting activities to target student needs, or preparing ahead of time with parent and school contact about the day's agenda. Today marks the start of our You Matter Campaign, and we’re excited to begin this journey with all of you! This campaign is a reminder that you are valued, seen, and heard, and we're kicking things off with a focus on self-care. Taking care of yourself is crucial—not just for your well-being, but so you can be the best version of yourself for your students, colleagues, and community. In our busy lives, it's important to pause, recharge, and focus on our own needs. Here are a couple of simple self-care tips to get you started today: Mindful Breathing: Take five minutes to practice the 4-7-8 method. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds. This simple technique can help reduce stress and improve focus. Stand up and do a few gentle stretches, focusing on your neck, shoulders, and back. Stretching helps release tension and brings you back to the present moment. Why is Self-Care Important? When we care for ourselves, we build resilience, reduce stress, and improve our overall well-being. Remember, YOU MATTER! Taking care of your mental and physical health sets a positive example for others and shows you value yourself. Let’s continue supporting each other throughout this week and beyond. Keep the You Matter message in your heart and practice self-care not just today, but every day! #YouMatter #SelfCare #YouAreValued
