🎣🌟 Embracing the Joy of Firsts! 🌟🎣 Our DOVE students shared in a heartwarming experience of the recent DOVE Dreamhunt Fishing Trip! Students embarked on an adventure filled with laughter, learning, and most importantly, fostering a positive and caring culture within our community. For some of our incredible participants, casting a line into the waters was a brand-new experience! Witnessing their excitement as they reeled in their first catch filled our hearts with immense joy. This trip wasn't just about fishing; it was about creating cherished memories and nurturing a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and included. 🌈 As we reflect on this unforgettable day, we're reminded of the importance of embracing new experiences and spreading kindness wherever we go. Voters in District 2 (North DeSoto Schools) rejected a bond proposal for capital improvements in November 2023. Because of the urgency of overcrowding and growing enrollment, the DeSoto Parish School Board has approved an April 27, 2024 election with a revised plan for voters to consider. Over 70 students from NWLA are competing in the LA FFA District V Ag Mechanics CDE at NDHS today. These students are applying skills they learn in the welding, small engines, and electrical classrooms to determine who moves onto area. This is one of the many ways #CTEisfun.
