🎉 Huge Congratulations to the DeSoto Parish 4-H Cooking Team! 🍽️🏅 We are so proud to announce that the DeSoto Parish 4-H Cooking Team placed 3rd in the state this week! This incredible achievement marks the first time a team from DeSoto Parish has made it to the state competition, and we couldn’t be prouder! The team, representing LHS (Cash & Riker), SHS (Cooper), and NDUE (Cooper), showcased their culinary talents by preparing and cooking a meal in just 40 minutes, then presenting their dish to a panel of judges. They also delivered a 5-minute speech on nutritional knowledge and a cost analysis of their meal. Out of 18 teams in their division, the DeSoto Parish team earned an impressive 3rd place finish! 🏆👏 This is a major milestone for DeSoto Parish Schools, and we are so excited to see these young chefs shine. Let’s continue to support and celebrate their hard work and dedication! 🎉. #DeSotoStrong #TheDeSotoDifference
