Preparation for the 2025-2026 school year is under way but students and families in DeSoto Parish do not have to worry about school supplies. Families are only responsible for purchasing school uniforms and a mesh/clear backpack. All other supplies are provided by the district. 📢 Last week, we shared our district LEAP results — now it’s time to celebrate our schools! Mansfield Elementary made impressive gains with an overall proficiency increase of more than 3 points and record-high scores in: 🎯 3rd Grade ELA 🎯 3rd Grade Math 🎯 4th Grade ELA 🏅 Four students earned perfect test scores — 1 in 4th Grade ELA, 2 in 3rd Grade ELA, and 1 in 3rd Grade Math!
