Our district ranks 5th in Louisiana in the DCAI (Dropout/Credit Accumulation Index). This is a measure of how many high school credits students earn by the end of 9th grade, and is an important indicator of if students will graduate on time. Today, Mansfield High School reached a milestone as we broke ground for the new covered practice facility for Mansfield athletics and auxiliary groups!

Staff spent today learning how to Stop the Bleed in case of an incident at the school. This is another example of how we partner with other organizations to ensure our staff is prepared for scenarious that may arise on any given school day! Our staff members are #DeSotoStrong!





We’re proud that DeSoto Parish Schools’ district performance score increased by 2.1 points in the 2023-2024 school year, bringing our performance score to 95.8! The District Performance Score is calculated by combining performance in LEAP 2025 state assessments for grades 3-8 and high school courses, ACT scores, graduation rates, strength of diploma, and interests and opportunities.
