Make A Difference Monday: We are kicking off World Kindness Week in DeSoto today, it is a global observance dedicated to promoting and celebrating acts of kindness. This day serves as a reminder of the positive impact that kindness can have on individuals, communities, and the world at large. It encourages people to perform intentional acts of kindness and foster a culture of compassion and generosity.
The theme for the year 2023 is "Be Kind Wherever Possible". The theme during the current year highlights the significance of consideration as a widespread rule that must be practiced on each side of the globe and in each part of our lives.

Mr. Hill is a product of DeSoto Parish Schools and a very proud Wolverine alumni. He has served as a classroom teacher at Mansfield High School for the past five years and is the current DeSoto Parish High School Teacher of the Year. Mr. Hill obtained a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Northwestern State University.
Mr. Hill's vision is to empower students to be agents of change. When asked what impact he hopes to have on students in his new role, he responded, "I will continue to be a servant-leader and a positive role model for students.
