Our CTE programs have been busy this week! Teachers attended recertification training, students learned basic sutures, forestry qualified for state contest and we had 2 JAG students named state officers. These students are #DeSotoStrong!

As we gear up for National Safe Schools Week (October 21-25), we have collaborated together to launch a special video series featuring Superintendent Clay Corley and DeSoto Parish Sheriff Jayson Richardson. Together, they will discuss the critical measures we've implemented to keep our schools safe and secure.
Tune in around 4 PM, daily, next week as they cover key topics like our strong partnership with local law enforcement, safety & security protocols, medical response plans, and effective communication strategies. At the October 4th board meeting, the DeSoto Parish School Board unanimously approved a capital improvement project to enhance the athletic facilities at Mansfield High School! This initiative reflects upgrades that will cover baseball, softball, and football facilities.
