Thankfulness! Although we are in a season of thanksgiving, we certainly can express thankfulness any time of the year. One of the best ways to express thankfulness is to enjoy a meal together. Today parents accepted an invitation from our schools to slow down and enjoy an appreciation meal. #BetterTogether! #Positive&CaringCulture!

Taking the ACT helps colleges and universities understand how prepared you are for college-level work. It also helps you stand out on college admissions, increases scholarship opportunities and could potentially increase your TOPS financial aid. Students interested in attending college, universities and trade schools have the opportunity to qualify for more money from TOPS.

What an incredible day at Logansport High School! Today, we had the privilege of hosting the Special Olympics, and our community came together to cheer on some truly inspiring athletes. From the energy in the crowd to the high-fives on the field, this event reminded us all of the heart and support that make our small town so special. Our students, staff, and volunteers filled the day with warmth and encouragement, creating a positive, caring environment where every participant felt like a star. The joy on the athletes’ faces and the pride in our supporters reflected the very spirit of DeSoto Parish – where we uplift each other, celebrate our neighbors, and honor traditions that make us a family.🏅💪 #DeSotoStrong #SpecialOlympics

🎉🏈 Congratulations to Logansport High School's Head Football Coach, Kevin Magee, on reaching an incredible milestone of 100 wins! Last Friday, Coach Magee led the Tigers to a 55-0 victory over LaSalle, marking a major moment in his career and in Logansport’s rich athletic history. Coach Magee is a true Logansport Tiger—one of the few who can say he’s won a state championship both as a player and coach at the same school! He stepped up as head coach in 2014, inheriting a 2-8 team and transforming it into a championship-caliber program. His first season ended with a solid 7-5 record, and by 2016, Coach Magee led the Tigers to a perfect 16-0 season and a state championship! Since then, the Tigers have made three semi-final and three quarterfinal appearances, and were back in the Superdome for the 1A State Championship in 2021. Through his dedication and commitment, Coach Magee truly exemplifies DeSoto Parish Schools' core value of high performance. We are so proud to have a coach who leads by example, pushing his players to reach their full potential and build a legacy of excellence. Here's to 100 wins—and many more to come! 🐅💪 #DeSotoProud #HighPerformance
