Due to hazardous winter weather and travel conditions, DeSoto Parish Schools and all district offices will close on Tuesday, January 16. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are of the utmost importance to us.
We will continue to work with our Emergency Management partners to monitor the latest weather and road conditions that would impact travel, and provide an update by Tuesday afternoon, if there is a need for school closures on Wednesday, January 17. Please continue to check for updates on our district website, Facebook page, and mobile notifications. Stay safe and stay warm!

As we enter a much anticipated and well-deserved break, I want to extend my warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season. It’s a special time for us to pause, reflect on our collective journey, and share in the joy of our achievements.
Our school system has always been committed to making a difference in the lives of our students, and this year has been a testament to that commitment.
